Richard Wagner

Richard Wagner (1813-1883) was a German composer, theatre director, and conductor, primarily known for his operas and musical dramas. His innovative approach to harmony and orchestration had a profound influence on the development of Western music. Wagner's notable works include the epic cycle "Der Ring des Nibelungen," which comprises four operas, and the tragic love story "Tristan und Isolde."
