Then Marched the Brave

The narrative follows a lame young man living with his patriotic mother and a close friend as wartime pressures and rumors about a mysterious lodger test loyalties and courage. As military movements sweep their region, suspicion rises that the absent lodger may be a spy, forcing the young man and his companion to confront honor, sacrifice, and the limits of physical weakness.
