A quartet of adventurous young women set out with their motor car from America to Europe, crossing the Atlantic and touring cities, countryside, and historic sites. Along the way they cope with seasickness, social encounters aboard ship, and a series of episodic incidents — mystery surrounding a man, unexpected escapes, stolen hospitality, and local legends — while sightseeing in places such as London, Oxford, St. Albans, and the lakes and castles of Ireland.
