Cosmic Castaway

The narrative follows Standish, Earth's Defense Engineer, who becomes the sole survivor of a prison ship wrecked in uncharted space amidst an ongoing war against the Sirian invaders. As he navigates the destruction around him, he grapples with the loss of his fellow prisoners and the dire situation on Earth, which is on the brink of becoming a vassal world. Standish recalls his failed mission to infiltrate Sirian territory and capture their leader, Drum Faggard, to turn the tide of the war. The story explores themes of survival, sacrifice, and the struggle against overwhelming odds in a science fiction setting.
