Boy Scouts Mysterious Signal; Or, Perils of the Black Bear Patrol

A patrol of Boy Scouts becomes entangled in wartime danger when one member is forced into service with occupying troops. The youths face capture, imprisonment, buried entrapment, and subterranean escape while responding to a mysterious signal and confronting suspected spies and disguised adversaries. Through a sequence of pursuits, ambushes, and jailbreaks they rely on resourcefulness, improvised science, and teamwork to rescue comrades and evade captors. The episodes emphasize preparedness, loyalty, and quick thinking as the patrol repeatedly outwits pursuers and engineers daring escapes under pressure.
