Timber-Wolf

Set in a remote southwestern mountain outpost, the narrative follows Bruce Standing, a proud, domineering man whose ambitions and contempt for local law antagonize neighbors as he pursues Lynette Brooke and Babe Deveril. A brawl and a startling wolflike night call inflame tensions, leading to a volatile confrontation around the jail and its prisoner Mexicali Joe. Sheriff Jim Taggart, intent on protecting the girl and upholding the law, faces a restless mob and Standing’s hard men, producing daring clashes, tests of loyalty, and harsh reckonings that expose the town’s rough codes of justice and personal rivalries.
