The Wrecking Master

A seasoned tug captain undertakes a risky plan to thwart a fraudulent wrecking and insurance scheme after his vessel aids a stranded steamer, sending his nephew, a novice deck-hand, aboard the disabled ship to act as his agent. Rival interests and a vindictive associate maneuver under cover of night around the reef, producing collisions, dangerous small-boat transfers, and improvised rescues.
