About This Book
A small expedition lands on a damp, odorous Venus to collect biological specimens, but shipboard life proves punishing and fuel shortages and personal vices complicate duties. One crewman begins seeing a small green humanoid that appears and vanishes, unsettling his crewmates and intensifying mistrust. Amid unexplained radio silence and pressure to secure specimens for funding, tensions about responsibility, improvised survival measures, and the nature of perception shape the crew's choices.
