The Pirate Woman

On a Caribbean coast a notorious pirate chief dies inside a cavern and his daughter seizes command of the motley shore community, imposing her will through charisma and cruelty. Her giant bodyguard's loyalty and dignity complicate loyalties as the crew prepares for visitors and prizes, forcing councils, judgments, and schemes. The plot moves between island set pieces—caves, groves, ships at sea—and a sequence of raids, attacks, treasure tests, betrayals, love rivalries, and desperate escapes, culminating in violent confrontations that decide control of the crew and its fortunes.
