The Moving Picture Girls at Rocky Ranch / Or, Great Days Among the Cowboys

A troupe of young film actresses travel west to a ranch to shoot authentic cowboy scenes, but their staged adventures soon become real dangers. Back at the studio a drill escalates into an actual fire, while on location they face storms, a cyclone, oil-field hazards, stampedes and a rush of steers. Rivalries, suspicions and imprisoned parties lead to daring rescues and a large roundup that tests their nerve. The story follows how practical courage, quick thinking and teamwork transform theatrical realism into lived experience, alternating comic studio incidents with fast-paced Western action and ending with revelations that settle misunderstandings.
