About This Book
A group of girls arrive at a secluded, ivy-clad country house and form a household knit by curiosity, mischief, and growing friendship. The newcomers — including a warm, sociable girl and a painfully shy one — investigate locked rooms, a wishing well, a village bazaar and a ruined windmill, encountering local mysteries such as a limping woman and secret invitations. Episodes move between playful plans, small moral tests and uneasy revelations, leading to confessions, reconciliations and new beginnings. The prose emphasizes character interactions and everyday adventure as bonds form and the house’s atmosphere is transformed.
