The collection presents transliterations and literal translations of Arabic-script Magindanao and Sulu manuscripts, including genealogies (tarsila), origin myths, and accounts of Islamization; detailed legal texts such as the Magindanao Luwaran and principal and revised Sulu codes with Arabic marginalia; and two Sulu liturgical orations. It includes a linguistic appendix proposing a transliteration system, geographical sketches of key settlements, and editorial introductions to each manuscript, all aimed at recording traditional histories, legal practices, and religious expressions of Moro societies.
