Skyrider

On a Southwestern ranch a young bronc breaker balances steady ranch work with an intense fascination for flying. When rumors arise about a hidden airplane he is drawn into quarrels, thefts, and desert rides that test his luck and resourcefulness. A determined young woman on the ranch pursues independent ventures and enters into rivalry and romantic tension with him. Encounters with migrant workers and local lawlessness escalate conflicts that lead to dangerous night rides and moral choices. The plot shifts from corral life and daily routines to a final series of trials culminating in his learning to pilot and embracing the risks of flight.
