About This Book
A man who tends an isolated supply shack on the Moon's far side struggles to recover memories wiped out by a head wound that followed his family's murder. Employed as the only surface attendant above a deep mining colony, he performs essential supply transfers while pursuing fragments of a life erased and comes to suspect a fellow named Sattell of complicity. The narrative follows his deliberate, sometimes harsh methods of memory retrieval, the psychological strain low gravity and underground living impose on colonists, and the tense interdependence between the surface sentinel and the subterranean community as accusation and survival collide.
