Sam Steele's Adventures on Land and Sea

A young boy learns that his seafaring father has been lost in a shipwreck and is propelled from a sheltered home into a series of maritime adventures. He signs aboard vessels, visits strange islands and rugged coasts, and confronts storms, outlaws, and shipboard hazards while pursuing buried gold and hidden caverns.
