Quill's Window

A young man boarding with a rural family becomes involved in a local mystery centered on a forbidden riverside rock with a windowlike opening. An old neighbor's stories and family reminiscences connect an elusive woman named Alix, a spirited young woman called Rosabel, and recurring nocturnal disturbances that include thrown stones, a face seen at a window, and anonymous messages. As suspicion and old grievances surface, the newcomer gradually uncovers buried secrets, romantic tensions, and the social dynamics that bind the community, while the narrative alternates between campfire storytelling and investigative episodes that reveal motives and consequences.
