One Man's Poison

Hellman and Casker, nearly starved aboard a crippled ship, land on a jagged, uninhabited planet and discover a vast, doughnut-shaped warehouse packed with alien-labeled containers. Pressed by hunger, they sort through powders, slimes and dusty goods until Hellman finds a Helg–Aloombrigian pocket dictionary and begins translating labels. They debate whether to perform chemical tests or rely on translations, confront baffling advertising copy and suspicious ingredients, and attempt to infer what the vanished occupants considered food. The episode blends survival improvisation with linguistic puzzling and highlights the comic dangers of misreading unfamiliar consumables.
