Myology and Serology of the Avian Family Fringillidae: A Taxonomic Study

The author examines relationships among seed-eating passerine birds by comparing pelvic-leg musculature and saline-soluble blood proteins across multiple genera and selected outgroups. The study describes dissection methods, detailed muscle descriptions, comparative tables and figures, and serological techniques for antigen and antisera preparation.
