This study catalogues and analyzes the coinage struck for the Venetian Republic's overseas and mainland possessions, combining detailed descriptions of types with archival decrees, mint tariffs, and illustrations. The author organizes material into five sections covering Dalmatia and Albania, the Venetian Levant, Candia, Cyprus, and the Terraferma, and compares colonial monetary systems with that of the metropolis. Attention is given to collection evidence and mint records, with proposed engraved plates to accompany the text; the work blends numismatic description with administrative and commercial context while inviting corrective scholarly commentary.
