Kertomuksia Etelä-Pohjanmaalta

A series of short, realist vignettes set in a Southern Ostrobothnian countryside, portraying villagers through episodic scenes such as boisterous gatherings, wedding festivities, petty trades, and moments of hardship. Humorous and earthy narration follows local characters whose impulses, debts, rivalries and loyalties surface in gambling, drinking, courtship and flight.
