Jacquette, a Sorority Girl

The story follows Jacquette Willard, a young woman who leaves her rural home to stay with city relatives and enter school life, where she confronts unfamiliar social codes and expectations. Through episodes of arrival and adjustment, friendships and rivalries, sorority rituals, campus events, and student meetings, she grapples with pressures to conform while asserting personal convictions.
