About This Book
The narrative follows a terrestrial mud-fisher who operates a globular mud-submarine on a planet of shifting, squirming mud seas, accompanied by an impish insectlike companion. Routine pearl-fishing and isolation are punctured by whirlpool hazards, torn nets, and rivalries with another mud-fisher over resources and a shared woman, creating tension and occasional rescues. Episodes combine tense submersible action, encounters with quasi-human fauna, and mud-storm peril with pulpy character interplay, exploring survival, loneliness, competition, and the strange, ever-changing alien environment.
