Death of a B.E.M.

The story follows a tribe of bored bug-eyed monsters whose chief, Hiah-Leugh, yields to his concubine Sally Patica's demand for entertainment by proposing a torture party and calling a council to arrange abducting solitary-headed humans as victims. Comic episodes spotlight the giants' absurd physiology, obsessive rituals such as eyeball massages, and the Gloating Chamber, while their confusion about human anatomy and offspring fuels misunderstandings. Through escalating slapstick and bureaucratic planning, the plot lampoons pulpy science-fiction tropes as the monsters' schemes to capture and torment humans develop into farce.
