About This Book
A visitor who collected samples from a shattered planetoid arrives at a liquor company office bearing a half-ounce vial of a murky blue distillate. A secretary and others discover that a single drop releases a transdermally active gas that produces intense euphoria and grandiose delusions at low doses and, in larger amounts, partial dissociation and the alarming possibility of inhabiting another person's body. The story follows the rush to commercialize the substance and the escalating consequences of reckless experimentation.
