About This Book
A young, mischievous goat leaves his farm seeking freedom and experiences a series of episodic adventures. Separated from his mother, he forges bonds with a boy and causes comic mishaps in town, survives hazards such as a storm and encounters with wild animals, and participates in fanciful episodes with other goats. Through playful troublemaking and occasional bravery he becomes part of a friendly household, earns a reputation and ultimately reunites with his mother, gaining a settled place and a name earned by his exploits.
